For Picture in Picture signage we have our own Android media player with a HDMI input,  this supports Freeview, Sky and any other device with a HDMI output.

Content can include, Date with many options and styles, Hundreds of facts from our database to engage the viewer (automatic), Weather for just today or a 5 Day  Weather forecast for any location in the world, Custom HTML content (advanced), General media library for images and videos, Memorable events for today and the next 3 days (automatic), Questions & Answers which is similar to the Facts snippet and created to engage viewers (automatic), RSS News Feed for global, national or local news, sport and entertainment, Easy to add simple text messages, Analogue clocks that can be styled and sized to suit, Digital clocks that can be styled and sized to suit.

For standard signage we use small form factor computers running our own custom Linux operating system to deliver the content in 2K or 4K.
